Visual Storytelling

I produced a three-part series capturing students traveling throughout India to better understand business for social good. I also co-taught the program with a focus on visual storytelling and built a class blog to showcase the students' work here

Part I: New IDEA CEO embarks on global experience to India

Part II: From theory to practice, a finance major experiences impact in India

Part III: Dialogue students share observations from India

Instagram

  • Audience Growth: Built a growth strategy for @theimproper’s feed posts (above) and Stories that resulted in a 110% increase in followers in less than two years which helped contribute to a 25% increase in monthly web traffic.

  • Takeovers: Launched a regular takeover series at Northeastern featuring student lives on campus and abroad paired with a Q&A. See some examples with Sukrit, MichelleMiranda, and Mia

Website

  • I served as the web editor for improper.com managing headlines, homepage rotation, web-exclusive content, and acted as webmaster for WordPress updates.

  • I closely analyzed Google Analytics to help inform my work on improper.com resulting in an increase of monthly unique visitors by 25%.

  • I wrote, assigned, and edited web-exclusive content that complemented the magazine’s print edition or served as timely content, such as “Most-Read Stories of 2018.”

SeasonsGreetings

Holiday Video Campaign

From ideation to execution, I managed a team to produce a holiday video and wrote student profiles for Northeastern's D’Amore-McKim School of Business’ holiday card. WATCH the video and read their stories.

Twitter

  • Audience Engagement and Growth: At @theimproper, I grew its audience 7% to nearly 90,000 followers and developed a strategy to increase engagement particularly from high-profile cover subjects, like Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (above) and actress Debra Messing.

Newsletters

  • I managed The Improper’s biweekly newsletter, redesigned the template (see example), grew its subscribers more than 30%, launched a Things to Do This Weekend weekly newsletter (see example), and built a growth strategy and templates for launching additional topic-based newsletters.
