Hi, I’m Emily.
I’m an editor with expertise in launching new editorial strategies, social media, and website management. Since 2019, I’ve built a new initiative as deputy editor of Community at Boston.com, part of Boston Globe Media Partners.
For two years until its closure, I was the digital editor for The Improper Bostonian, a lifestyle magazine with a 28-year history covering food, arts, culture, and the latest events across the city. I managed The Improper’s web content, newsletters, and social channels. I also wrote about Boston’s only salt cave yoga, eating my way through Singapore, George Foreman III’s vision for success, and what it takes to become an astronaut.
Prior to my work in journalism, I spent the better part of a decade working in another passion: social enterprise and impact investing.
